Personal Mantras

Personal Mantras reinforce Happiness, Peace and Success – Vinite Dawara Nargia writes in her book. It is important to have one’s own Mantra – a positive Phrase or Word that one keep repeating is no longer just a chant or an utterance – but merges with the rhythm of the body and is one with you, and with your intend. Mere repetition of a positive phrase every day can bring about changes in our brains, leading to happiness, less stressed state of mind and reduce self-judgment shows a study in the journal ‘Brain and Behavior. A Mantra is a positive affirmation – it could be a Phrase, Verse or even a Word. We can have one or different personal Mantras for different parts of the day or activities – Words that remind us how to stay true to ourselves and our own sense of life as we wish to live. You could have a Mantra / Phrase for when you get up every morning, when you leave home , yet another before you enter your workplace and one you go to sleep. You could also chant Mantra for negative emotions that you wish to control or when you feel low. The Mantras could be as simple as “Stay Calm” or “I am as good as the Best” or” I am surrounded by Love”, “This too will Pass” or the popular “All is Well”. Just remember what you repeat (affirm) often is what you will get back multiplied. Just a positive thought becomes a Mantra for positive affirmation that attracts good to us, negative thoughts can work the other way around. Who you become is all a matter of what all you think and attracts towards you.
